Google Earth Versus Nietzsche

As a virtual tourist we can experience the painting The garden of Earthly Delights. With a 14,000 Megapixel resolution we are able to zoom in to a distance you would never been able to do with eyes, but don’t we loose the ability of reading the painting when zooming is not in relation to the surrounding? The Garden Delight is an answer to the past, present and the future painted 1500 and the view is rather religious. As a critic to the ability of zooming in and a religious answer to everything on earth I created a two parallel story where the text is Nietzsche’s realistic critic to religious painters and their view of creation. The quote is divided in three chapters as referring back to the painting, the past, present and the future. The image part is a set of cards from the painting, nonlinear for you to read how you want it be read, your own story as we do when we read paintings. The book is an experimentation and questioning of how we read image and text.
