Everything has rhythm, everything dances. The beating of a human heart, the graceful orbiting pathway of the earth around the sun, the vibrations of tiny microorganisms, and a small child reaching for a favourite toy. They all evolve movement. Movement is all around us, all the time. It’s a human expression and observations are interpreted as intuition. Movements reflects our innermost feelings and for this reason the following pages is a study of my movements as an expression of a time when loosing a part of myself and movements have replaced words. Through dancing I began to interconnect to my inner attitudes and I achieved a greater sense of balance and wholeness in my life.
I danced to the track Out there on ice and let the intuition create the meaning of the movements, created a system of how to write and read movements and placed it back to the music in form of notes in a scorebook, for my lost half to read. A love letter of inner feelings, when words are not enough. When hidden words became reality I deconstructed the lyrics of the song to tell what happens now. I left the score lines empty for you to replace with tones of your response.
