Dot dotdot dotdot ÅÄÖ
In the Swedish Alphabet there are three letters that do not exist in the English alphabet Å, Ä and Ö are created to replace that originally is the sounds of two letters, therefore the dots are placed above A or O. For languages where these do not exist it seems remarkable that the dots totally change the meaning and the pronouncing of an already existing letter. I am proud to present the 27th, 28th and 29thh letter as a part of my language, my background. A letter is a written copy of the speech and vice versa. One part is a written body and one part is a recorded reading of all Swedish words on Å, Ä and Ö to get the complete instructions how to use each letter.

My story goes on. Replacing my rules with foreign adventures and memories become nostalgia. From there to here, becomes my story of my Swedish identity. Three letters in a system or the escutcheon that are three proud crowns in a relation. From then to now the story of tends to go from flat into shapes. Years pass by and my words become more and more three dimensional than my first days of words. To understand a letter or me you need to feel the shape and not the surface. Each letter is tribute in a poster each, for you to touch and feel my origin, that specific shape made of Sweden’s most important export. My story goes on. To be continued.
